Professional CNC Face Gear Clutch Machining Technology

We are equipped with five-axis CNC machining centers, high-precision CNC gear shapers, and dedicated forming grinders. Using a dedicated gear machining tool system, we can machine various precision face gear clutches with outer diameters of φ50-φ500mm, 6-120 teeth, modules of 1-8, and precision levels reaching ISO 6 or higher. Through optimized multi-process collaborative machining strategies and online measurement technology, the tooth profile error is ensured to be no more than 0.008mm, the tooth direction error controlled within 0.006mm, the tooth surface roughness to Ra0.8μm, and the end face runout of the gear ring controlled within 0.01mm.

High-Quality Materials and Heat Treatment Processes

High-quality alloy steels such as 20CrMnTi, 40Cr, 42CrMo, GCr15, and 65Mn, along with spring steel, are selected, combined with advanced heat treatment processes such as carburizing and quenching, high-frequency quenching, and tempering. By precisely controlling heat treatment parameters, a tooth surface hardness of HRC58-62, a hardened layer depth of 0.8-1.5mm, and a core toughness of HRC30-40 are achieved. For different operating conditions: 20CrMnTi deep carburizing is used for automotive transmission clutches; 40Cr combined with high-frequency quenching is used for engineering machinery; 42CrMo alloy steel is used for high-torque applications; and GCr15 bearing steel is used for high-speed clutches.

We have effectively solved these challenges through innovative processes: employing CNC forming grinding and online compensation technology to control tooth profile errors within 0.005mm; utilizing high-precision indexing and grinding processes to ensure tooth direction consistency; and employing PVD coating technology to increase the tooth surface hardness to over HV2000.
